12 inch square cake for the base covered with chocolate buttercream with red coloring added to make frosting dark red. Hat covered with MMF. I just covered the cake board with a bandana and covered with clear plastic wrap to keep the bandana from getting grease spots from the frosting. Thanks to pictures from this site for the inspiration. I just looked at the bandana and piped on the bandana design with buttercream.
