I was asked to make a cake for a colleagues last day at work. When looking for inspiration I saw lots of photos on here of flowerpot cakes and wanted to try. Still new at this but thought it may be do-able. 5 layers of vanilla madeira cake in the main body of the pot and an 8 inch round and bowl cake for the rim of the pot and dome to add height for the flowers. The top was seperate and was taken home by the colleague it was made for. There were lots of happy noises in the office yesterday lol. TFL
