Teacup Cake...

I made this for a lady's 65th birthday. I really liked it, but there are a few changes I'll make to the next one. Not trilled with the handle....oh well, we are are own worst critics. She asked for pale lavender flowers. The flowers are brush embroidery technique...they took hours. Thanks for looking, all comment welcome.

Thank you for the nice comments. I didn't take a class, just read up on the technique from one of Colettes books. The "cup" part is chocolate cake with SMBC, covered in fondant.

Wonderful job on the embroidery!!! I love the technique itself and you did it soo well. I'm trying to visualize how you possibly did this, with the cup laying over on it's side. And the saucer, edges and handle all look great too! This is a WOW job!!
