My first cake class project was a whimsy cake. I really love vivid, bright colors, so I chose the primaries and this is how it came out. It truly was a coincidence that it was Dr. Suess' Birthday. ;-)

I mean IS a great teacher. I am taking a class from her right now. Wedding cakes, start to finish. I have the most fun in her class!

how cute!!! I love the the creativeness! what method did you use to stack the tiers?

i carved them at an angle such that even though the main tier was tilted, there was a totally horizontal surface cut into the cake so it would sit flat on a support. It's an optical illusion.
