This cake was for my sister in laws birthday. I could not find out how to make the lid for the life of me....I later saw them here. But I tryed to use a foam base, but was not happy with the way it looked, so I used just a cake board and covered it in MMF/gumpaste mixed. I just formed it to hold it's shape and crimped the edges. It kinda looks like a bottle cap, but I think it turned out pretty good.
