This is my attempt at an Ed Hardy birthday cake for my husband, who is covered in tattoos. It is very humid in Texas, and the icing recipe I used from Whimsical Bakehouse would not stay on the cake sides. It just slid right off. That hs nsver happend before, but obviously I could not decorate the sides. A sheet cake would have been a better choice so more details could have been added, but overall I am pleased with a least the skull part.
