I was asked to copy one of my previous designs (I hate that...). She also wanted a type of cake that is almost impossible to work with, a typical Swedish cake that has very thin floppy layers of cake and lots and lots of whipped cream, raspberry jam and custard and is then covered with marzipan. I explained to her that it would be hard to do that with the checkered design and that it would have round edges. That was not a problem for her so I agreed to do it.
