This was a baby shower cake for my sister in law. It's an b8 layers half chocolate & half french vanilla w/ strw. cream cheese fillings, buttercream icing under MM fondant, all accents are MMF. First time w/ bow , booties & quilt pattern done w/ a ruler. For some reason I can't seem to get a straight edge even w/ using the wilton cutter that looks like a mini pizza cutter. Any critiques or suggestions on how to improve this cake would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

forgot to say that the top tier is glossy b/c I messed up using the wilton shimmer dust. I thought it would be like luster dust but nope, and I had already put it on the cake so I had to finish the cake w/ it.

Your flowers, bow and booties are all very nice. You have a good eye for placement, which is a MAJOR struggle for a lot of people. I am impressed with your work; it's clear you are learning (from your comments), but you already have a nice handle on the technique. Keep practicing ... it will get better with each cake you do! Nice work overall.
