This cake had an interesting finish to it.....I did this cake @5 am with a flashlight, cuz the power went out the night before my daughter's graduation ceremony. The hat is a 2 layer 6" cake and the rim is a thin 8" layer cake. The books are 1 layer 1/4 sheet cakes. All the cakes are done in buttercream icing. The diploma is the actual copy of her diploma on made as an edible image.
