This is for a 1 year old's birthday. Mom says he likes balloons, so that's what I went with. Mom aske for this color scheme-she's an interior decorator and knows what she's talkin' 'bout. Love these colors!

This is the cutest balloon cake ever! I love the colors and I love the balloons on the strings. I hate to see a cake saved as a favorite and no comments! This cake deserves so many more compliments!

Thanks everybody! Laynie72 the balloons are made of gumpaste then brushed with confectionary glaze, which gives the shine.

Lovely! And thanks, I have been trying to find out how to make balloons like this. Was wondering whether the gumpaste would have been too heavy and bent the wires but I see now how well yours has worked :)
