This is the cake made for day care party of my 3 years old son. It's made of yellow sponge cake (Italian "Pan di spagna") filled with 2 layers of a mix of pastry cream and whipped cream ("crema pasticcera e panna montata") and chocolate solid drops. The sea is whipped cream, the sand is crunched cookies, the rubber ring, the air bed and the beach towel are made of sugarpaste. The size is about 60 cm x 40 cm.
