I made this cake for a wedding recently with the intention of having it be a slightly altered version of another cake which I had made previously. I was very frustrated with the filigree design, however, as it was my first attempt at putting it on a cake, and I'm afraid I need quite a bit more experience before I can truly master the technique. Any tips?
