This is a gumpaste Bird of Paradise that I made for a demo at my state's Summer Meeting with a Tropical/Hawaiian theme. The cutters and instructions are from Scott Clark Woolley. This is supposed to be one of the hardest flowers to re-create in gumpaste, but I didn't find it too bad once I got going with it. The most difficult part for me was attaching the large, leaf-shaped green piece to cove the "base" of the flower because there was no cutter. I painted the vase to match the flower.
