I got this idea from kchart- THANKS! I had a major cake disaster the day before my son's birthday and I went on to cake central to find an idea and kchart's was the one. It's a WASC cake with peach cream filling (stabilized whipped cream and with peach preserves), the frosting is a slight variation on the buttercream dream frosting (2 sticks salted butter and 1/2 c shortening with 4 cups powdered sugar- it was delicious& very creamy!). The cake size was a 10 & 6. All buttercream.
