Reid Hillview Airport
This team effort cake looks just like coming in for a landing at Reid Hillview Airport in San Jose CA, according to the new pilot who received it. The control tower was almond cake and white and chocolate fondant, built by my DH. The ground was five 9x13 almond cakes covered in marzipan with fondant runways and IMBC grass. It was almost 4 feet long. The cake was as accurate as possible from aerial photos of the airport. First solo Cessna model (not edible) was built and painted by another pilot friend
