This is adorable. Can you tell me how you made it? My cousin is wanting one for her son's first birthday in March and I have no idea on where to start.

Hi all thank you for all the nice words. as to how I made it I used the wilton wonder mold pan, 8 in round, and 3-d ball cake pan. I stacked the wonder mold cake on top of the 8 inch and trimmed it to fit the 8 in cake. for his head I lightly greased the ball pan and pressed rk treat into it and left it over night to harden. I put a dowel rod straight through him to keep the head on then I covered it all with the grass tip, the eyes are marshmellow fondant. His hands and feet are molded out of rk treats.

great cake! I'm looking to do one for my niece's 2nd birthday I think this is the one. I have continued to look for other elmo cakes (I looked through every one) and your cake is by far the best one I have seen! Beautiful job.

This is awesome. I love it. Did you put the rice krispie treats in the refrigerator for the head? And what about the arms and legs? Are they rice krispies treats too? How did you mould the hands? Did you refridgerate first and then let them warm up and mold it like that? I'm very impressed with this cake.

Hi SaraO, I,m glad you liked my elmo. As for putting the rk treats in the fridge no I did not I just let it set in the 3-d ball pan overnight on my table. I just wraped it in plastic. for the hands and feet i made rk treats in a square pan and just cut them out of that. I shaped the hands with a knive I just trimed tell I had the shape that I wanted same with feet. Hope that helps.
