I made this cake from a mold my Grandmother gave me. She used it for my 1st birthday cake and it was a joy to be able to use it to make this cake for my daughter who turned ONE in March. I made it from boxed cake mixes using a home made butter cream frosting. I wish I would of taken more time on the base to make an actual basket weave pattern, but I was pressed for time.
