My Inlaws are celebrating 50 years of wedded bliss this year... I made a 14 inch double layer marble cake with ivory buttercream.. Basket Weave on the side and roses all over the top. The '50' are wooden numbers that I bought from Michael's and painted with metallic gold acrylic paint..and hot glued them onto flat rods and placed them into the cake.
