Those look great and this answers I question about using scrapbook paper. The options are endless!!!!! Now I am wondering if the companies that make the expensive ones are taking note!

Only a pleasure sharing. I went out and bought a scallop punch (used in scrap booking to punch edges - funny I don't do scrapbooking AT ALL) and punched all kinds of beautiful top frills! They have such a variety available out there - you can try that as well.

Oh, and of course you can add stickers and glitter and pearls and ribbons and ... oh gosh you will have to bo and visit a craft shop - I tell you ... :D They will work VERY WELL for wedding as you can personalise each one with initials on them etc etc

Just a little caution. I would be hesistant to put on anything that might get into the frosting and isn't edible. Sorry, always cautious!,

Yes. I agree - use food safe glue if you have to or just tie a ribbon around the wrapper. Use a thicker paper to avoid any of the "non-edible" decorations touching the cupcake or frosting. Also removed any non edibles before the "eating" part starts. You can also use little rings made of covered florest wire to dangle anything from - that way you are sure it is food safe!

ok, I need to know..., how much will you be charging for a cup cake like this. I use a boxed based batter, and I put an edible decoration on top of the icing. I love this idea, but I am curious to know, how much will be ok, considering the work involved. Please answer!!! Thanks!! :D

Sweetbyme: It's difficult for me to say what to charge. I live in Centurion, South Africa and our prices are quite different from yours. Maybe you must have a look on the cupcake forum where they discuss prices or even ask a question in this regard. HTH
