Mickey Mouse

Taken from Wilton Cake Decorating Yearbook. Scaled down a bit and used cardboard for face and hands (hands have royal icing on them). Strawberry cake with vanilla buttercream. MMF legs.

He is adorable! How did you get his feet to stay in place and what are they made of?

Thanks! His feet are the mini egg mould and they're held in place by cardboard (oval shape with a tab) wrapped in foil and stuck into the cake.

I'm doing this cake for my Grandson's 3rd birthday....I just found out the Mickey pan is retired so I am following your lead on the cutout, great job and would love to know where you found the pic,,,,,it's just the perfect size for the body! Saving to my fav's!
