My husband and I both worked on this cake. He made the wooden
stand so R2D2 would begin approx. 4-6" off the table. My husband did
the actual decorating. This was a gift to my best friend's daughter. Mocha cake, filling and frosting. Covered in fondant.

This cake is amazing. What was the size of the pan you used for the body and how many?

The body of R2D2 is made of (4) 8" layers of cake. The head is made of (1) 8" layer + a dome cake layer. :cowboy:
