I made this cake for my daughters 6th birthday in a hurry because I had two other cake orders that day. The mermaid is done in sugar flow. The cake is covered in blue marzipan. The rock is RI dabbed on with a knife and painted when dry. I actually like how the rock turned out. I thought the cake looked a little empty, so I decided to add some water. That did not turn out as nice... I wish I hadn't done that. Water too in RI, painted when dry. My daughter was happy with the cake, so it turned out ok.
