Whimsical Birthday cake with coffee cup. Coffee cup made out of wilton's 5 inch ball cake pan - I only used one side or one half of pan set for coffee cup. Cake is 8 inch cake with piece cut out and then decorated exposed area with fondant to look like inside of cut cake. Candle on cake, spoon, saucer are gumpaste. Steam swirls coming out of cup is gumpaste with wooden shish kabob skewers stuck inside them while soft and then laid in cornstarch so swirls would dry with full rounded shape - no flat sides
