Bd Gift Box Cake

This was a surprise BD cake for the wife of friend of mine. It was chocolate cake with mocha cream, covered with fondant and the bow was a mixture of gum paste and fondant (50/50). I liked the soft look thanks to color combination.

Thank you all. The most important thing was that BD lady was very happy with the cake. Deb3627 I've used a stencil and applied dry luster dust.

So cute, How did you get the bow so even with the luster dust? Did you use and airbrush?? Where did you get the stencil for the dots? One more question I promise, hehe :oops: Do you have a template for the bow, if so can you sent it to me??? [email protected]. Thank you!! Very very beautiful!!! :D

Makenice99 I used a mix of half fondant and half gum paste. Jessfmaldonado I've used a soft thick paint brush to apply luster dust. I will send you the rest of the answer after I get home - I am at work now :wink:
