This is a cake I did for my nephews bowling themed birthday party. The cake had to ride in the car over 150 miles and the humidity was bad when I made it and while it traveled so the buttercream NEVER crusted. I wish the icing was smoother or that I would have just done fondant but next time... there's always the next time. Those pins are great! That is a Wilton pan from like 1972 and it actually can make a stand up pin! The ball is the sports ball. Tanner loved it! I had fun!
