My 1st time attempt at making a cake of this magnitude - it was inspired by one of the cakes on this site. I was really pleased with the result and origianally made a rabbit, ducks, teddy bears and blocks but it was 2 crowded, so decided to keep it simple!

Absolutely beautiful! Is the lace edging on the "lids" from a silicone mold?

the lace on the 'lids' is made by a FMM lace cutter. EVERYTHING is made from sugar paste.
