Thank You ladies for your nice comments. I cannot take credit for the technique. Here is the link where I got it from. They do theirs with fondant and royal icing. I just wait for my buttercream to crust and spread buttercream over the stencil. Aika I used Ateco tip 96 for the border. :D

Thank you! I jusr used a regular stencil from the craft store large enough to cover the top then I spread buttercream on top.
I like it! It looks elegant without having to do a lot of piping.
