3 Tierluau Cake
The number 3 on top was made using a alphabet cutter and fondant, as were the words on the cake. The flipflops, Palm trees and the little Girl were made from Fondant too. The little flower Lei around the girls neck and also the one laying on top of the cake...were made by cutting out little circle shapes with the end of a icing tip, then making a little print in them with another tip... then I used a needle and thread to loop them together. Everything else was made from Buttercreme.
This was for a cake Order I received, and they were pretty specific with what they wanted...and they do not care much for fondant..and only wanted it used in the areas specified.. Otherwise I would have made Hawaiian looking flowers and stuff and put on the cake as well. I think those would have been so much cuter!
