Sweet 16
Mom/Daughter were having a "Glitter done" western-themed party. Wanted cake to be sparkly and very festive. Jewels were purchased by Mother. Also made all the cookies in cowboy boot cutters and princess tiara cutters. Added choc. dipped strawberries to stand also.

I would say you certainly accomplished the festive! Very pretty cake. The tiara and the 16 look pretty durable. Did you make them out of fondant? How did you get them to stand so well?
Tiara is royal icing and the "16" is fondant with gumtex added. I wrapped drinking straws around each number and let them dry for 3 days.
