Nintendo on Cake Central

This was made for a colleague, in a HUGE rush. I'm not to happy with a few aspects of it, like the bottom of my triangle is bowed, and on the back there is 2 wrinkles in my fondant. Small ones, but still. And I had no time to do the cake board. But....here it is. Supposed to be Link's clothes and sword from that video game Zelda (client requested design). The cake doesn't really fall off the edge of the board, that's a photo angle issue....I am a critique subgroup member.

critique subgroup member: Nice fondant work! I wish the tunic had more dimension to it like the other pieces of clothing! Like you have already state, the front looks bowed, but your fondant looks nice and smooth! great work hard to believe was done in a rush!

critique subgroup member: I see what you're talking about with the triangle. That's too bad. Also, the board looks small to me. I do think your modeling is extremely well done and, from what I can see, you fondant looks great. It's a very unique cake and I think you did a great job making it.

Critique Subgroup Member: I agree about the bowed triangle, but hey things happen when you're in a rush. I agree the tunic, belt could use a little more dimension. It's hard to cover a triangle!!

Critique subgroup member: Dont't now a thing about link but it reminds me of Robin Hood! Okay for what it is worth, you should purchase a "T" square and triangle to help with straight lines. Although this is a fast cake, it is rather boring to me.....not sure what would spice it up especially since I don't know the character.

Critique Subgroup Member: despite the bowing of the triangle, it still looks great! I thought it looked like robin hood as well, but I think it's supposed to. You did a great job on the fondant pieces. :) Great colors as well

Critique Subgroup Member: I think your fondant looks very smooth and I love the shield and sword but I'm not sure what "links" is so I can't comment on the design itself too much. Overall for a rush job I think it looks great!

Critique Subgroup Member: The sword and shield look nice and rolled fondant looks smooth. Cake extending off the edge of the board is very distracting to me.

Critique group member: Something bugs me about this cake, It needs more color, more interest, I'm not sure what but something is definately missing.
