critique member: wow! this is practice! this looks really nice. as you already mentioned...the bored. i really love the roses on top...I like the size and the color. the only thing I would change is the leaves. the look a little large and maybe too thick. they don't look as delicate as the roses. That is the only thing I would change! Really nice practice! ;-D
Critique Subgroup Member: Very, very pretty. The borders are gorgeous. Your buttercream is so wonderfully smooth. I love that orchid luster dust - such a pretty color. Very, very pretty.
Critique Subgroup Member: I think you did a great job I just can't wait to see the final cake! Your colour choice is really nice and the luster dust looks amazing! :D
Critique subgroup member: This is so lovely! I love the roses! Very beautiful! The only thing I personally would change is the reverse shell on the top. It gives an uneven appearance to the top edge of the cake. It is beautiful and the bottom border is beautiful but I would "reverse" the two. JMO!! I can't wait to see the finale!!!!!!
Critique Subgroup Member. I like the rose color you have and the lust dust is a great color as well. Your border piping is great--very even. The only thing I would change would be making the leaves a little darker. For some reason that green color doesn't look very natural to me. Other than that, great job.
critique subgroup member: I love the design on the sides....it gives such neat texture and is so well done. I agree about the leaves and the reverse shell. Overall, it's very beautiful.
Critique Group Member: Stunning work - your son's are very lucky to have such talent in the family. All your piping, etc... is perfect. I agree with the suggestion about the leaves - I assume when working with GP instead you'll be able to thin/shape these better. Love the luster dust color - have to pick that one up!
Critique Group Member: I love the colors and I love the side design. This is such a pretty cake. I, too, would like to see the leaves in a darker green.
critique subgroup member: This is a wonderful cake, and your son is very lucky! The roses are stunning. The leaves could be a bit crisper, but it's just a practice, and given how well you did no the roses, it won't be a problem. The rest is perfect!
