This is the cake i made for my "graduation" at cake making class. I hadn't learnt how to make gum paste flowers, so i crystallized real roses & fruits for the top.

Stunning--what did you use to make your sugar adhere? I have heard frothy egg whites or thinned piping gel?

I used a thin layer of beaten egg white, then sprinkled fine sugar over the roses & fruits. Thanks for the compliments!
