Critique group member: Oh how cute! I love the animals! My only critiques would be that I think the side needs some interest maybe dots like I did in my blue daisy cake and although the cake board coordinates color wise it's too distracting with the pattern, although maybe it would be less of a problem if the cake board was smaller.

critique group member: chocolate and red velvet cakes are here to drive us crazy when it comes to icing them with buttercream!! It's the worst!! Anyhoo, this is a very cute cake, love the fondant animals!! I think that you probably could have added more water and the border is off a little bit on the left side. Great job though!!

Critique subgroup member: What a darling design! Your attention to the design details are adorable. Love the little bib. I'm not a fan of the top border and too bad about the few crumbs in the BC, but overall sweet cake!

Oh aren't those animals cute!!!! The colors you used are so complimentary. Definately slow down a bit when doing the shell border then when you get the hang of it you can speed it up. Practice makes perfect. It took me a while to get the shell border down. It's all in the squeeze/release of the piping bag and the sweeping motion you use. Other than the crumbs in the icing this is sooooo cute.

Critique group member: adorable! Great colors and your animals turned out terrific. One suggestion to have textured the ark and kept the animal faces off the base of the boat.

critique group member... I like the colors and the animals. the shell border is a bit off. I know if I get going to fast sometimes I have problems with keeping the border straight etc. Also make sure you are holding the bag in the correct possible. Overall great cake!

Critique Subgroup Member: This is cute and a creative idea with the fondant accent animals. I like the critters in the water. It looks like your buttercream wasn't thick enough and the top border is crooked. The cake matches your board very well, but I think the board is too big. I like the little pink drop flower accents on the bottom border, too. The painting on the animals is really very good. Adorable giraffe and zebra!!

Critique Subgroup Member: I'm not going to dwell on what you already see yourself. The cake is beautiful. I like the colors and the animals, they're so cute!!. As far as your border, drink less coffe :wink: that's what I do! Overall i love this cake, rock on!!
