Teapot Cake
My first 3-D cake ever! The teapot was baked in a large glass bowl with an 8" round underneath that was carved to fit. Cupcakes are the teacups. I used strawberry marshmallows to make the MMF so that it was already pink. Handles and spout were dried MMF. I had fun and was pretty happy with it other than the wrinkles around the bottom.
So pretty. Any little (big) girl would be proud to have this cake at her party. :D
Sooooooooooo pretty! How did you get the spout to stay up?
You did a fantastic job on your first 3-D cake.
Thank you for your comments! I used a dowel rod to keep the spout in. I formed the spout around the stick so that it dried with the stick in it. Then just stuck it in. It sank a bit so I put flowers there.
