Make-Over Cake
This is a 12" hexagon cake with buttercream torte and fondant overlay. Done for a birthday with a makeover theme. All the items on the cake are hand molded gumpaste (eye shadow compact, lipstick, comb, brush, hairdryer, nail polish and "12". I just love the hairdryer with the plug!

How in the world did you make the brush?
The dryer with the outlet is genius! Love this design!
To make the brush, I simply handmolded the body of the brush and used a toothpick to poke holes in the paddle of the brush head. Then with the extruder I make all the bristles, cut them to length and let them dry overnight. Then I put a drop of tylose (gumpaste) glue in each hole and stuck a bristle in. Thanks everyone, you are all very kind! ;-D
