I have a friend who's been dying to have one of these...He would love this one for sure.

MrsMissey, this cake looks great, but what is the filling/top of it?

Thanks to both of you!! The filling/top are your basic coconut/pecans in an egg mixture, drizzled w/chocolate!

cake is nice, however, i think you should have iced the sides in chocolate for a more finished look

Looks yummy. I've seen this cake both ways, finished and "open layers." This reminds me of an old world look. Very yummy!
