Oh, forgot to add the topper is made out of gumpaste and I know it looks awefull that you can see the wires......but what else could I do with a "B"???

I think this is a gorgeous cake...dont be so hard on yourself! Did they like it? I know I sure would have.

I would of never noticed until you pointed it out you did a great job and I know those ribbons are hard when you first try them you will improve just watch!! :D :)

I actually really like this cake. No one notices the mistakes like you on your own work!

thanks you guys.........I worked on this thing from Friday afternoon all the way through the night (took an hr. and a half break to go out to dinner with DH and my stepDD that just came into town that night) and kept going until9:30 am the day of the wedding!!! Delivery was as 12:30!!! (felt like the clock ticking like you see on Duff lol) this was such a simple design I never thought in a million years it would take THAT long! I had another (mini topsy turvy)that was an all nighter the night before!!

my icing was so perfectlly smooth and the edges were soooooooo crisp and then all my fiddling trying to get the fondant ribbon on there I smudged everything up.......I don't ever want to hear "ribbon made of fondant?, can you do that" ever again!!! NOOO..I can't!! :cry: :cry: maybe I should have tried putting it on BEFORE I stacked the cakes?? but I wanted to cover the cake board and thought I might smoosh it when I stacked em'

Beautifully done, I don't see the mistakes. The "B" is just perfect! All of your work is terrific! ;-D
