Poo Cake

Poo Cake on Cake Central

UGH...This is the grossest cake I have ever been asked to make. The customer wanted a cake that looked like a pile of poo with toilet paper and flies! It was for a 60th b-day and she was going to stick a sign in it saying "Turning 60 is like stepping into a pile of s--t." It's yellow cake with cheesecake mousse and choc. bc icing. I don't know who could actually eat it though. I'm a critique group member. I welcome comments. Just remembe

Critique subgroup Member: Oh that is so gross! Its weird to say you did an excellent job making it look real. I love the flies :)

Critique subgroup Member: your atrention to detail on the....or IN the....um..poo...looks great. From a critique angle, it's perfect. You did a wonderful job keeping it clean and not just thrown together. I don't know if I could eat it, either. Your flies are awesome! :)

Critique group member: great design and execution (she got what she asked for!). The only critique I have is to clean up the side of the cakeboard (e.g. add some brown ribbon). Love the messy TP!

Critique subgroup member: OMG who asks for this type of cake? I am not critiquing it. How did you feel making it? And are you going to include it in your portfolio? If you do, you may be asked to make many more of these, then you will be known as the poo cake lady........just thought you might want to think about that. :D

Tiptop...I don't know if I'll include the picture or not. However, I must say it was a pretty easy cake to make. So, if word of mouth causes orders for poo cakes, I'll happily make them and earn some extra $. :D

Critique subgroup member: Looks really great overall. The color is perfect. My only critique is that the edges could have been a little less uniform looking. But, you sure got that gross effect you were looking for!
