In album: covered
This is the groom's cake that went with the single tier ivory wedding cake. They requested chocolate cake with chocolate covered strawberries. This was my first time using ganache. It was very thick and didn't 'pour' down the sides of the cake as I had wanted, I had to 'help' it go down the sides. I re-heated it some before trying to pour it, but was scared to get it too warm, because I didn't want it to melt the chocolate frosting. It looked very tasty though!!!

I does look really good. You can add a little more cream to thin it to pouring consistency. Love how you slice the berries on top - adding contrast. Looks great!
