This was for La Quinceanera-I attached a photo of what the napoleon would look like without the icing on top and the sides. It's the first time making a napoleon into a cake. The customer wanted it and it was fun to try this challenge. The top is frosted with powdered sugar, water and some lemon juice and the sides were frosted with vanilla buttercream. The inside had 3 layers of puff pastry sheets, homemade vanilla custard and sliced fresh strawberries.
