Buttercream Rose
My first Rose. I tried doing them on the nail, but they always turned out horrible. I tried it on the sharpened dowel today and it actually came out. I was really proud of myself.

It's beautiful! Looks absolutely perfect! I guess I need to give the dowel a try, my raggedy edged pinecone roses just aren't cutting it for me! :wink:
That looks great. I tried the dowel, but it kept slipping down. How did you get it to stay put? Great job.
That is stunning. I'm doing my first class ever today and I hope someday my roses look like that!!
Honestly Im not real sure how they stay. LOL. I think it has something to do with the consistency of the icing. I found it needs to be really thick.
