85Th Birthday Cake In Blue
I make this cake for my neighbour's dad who is 85 today, Vanilla marbled sponge with hard butter icing on the top which i smoothed out with a palette knife dipped in boiling water to get the smooth effect. mixed fruit jam and vanilla lime buttercream filling covered in vanilla buttercream
the dragees in the numbers were the perfect touch- I have never heard of that icing before but it sounds incredible!!
