I took a piece of pastillage and placed it over a wig stand and pressed it firmly onto the stand then I cut around where I wanted it and made holes in the eyes. Left it to dry for a day and then sanded it carefully to smooth eyes and cut out areas. Airbrushed cheeks, eyeshadow is blue lustre dust and eyelashes are royal icing piped over a wooden spoon handle. For every 1 eye lash insert I broke about 15 just picking them up.
