Chocolate Black And White Topsy Turvy
This cake almost didn't happen. The bottom tier started sinking thanks to heavy wet fondant and humidity. So I ran out and got a dummy and redid the bottom. I made the extra cake to replace the servings. I actually like how it came out with the dummy better than the original cake. The new bottom tier was 8 inches tall at it's tallest point, so it really made the cake tall and beautiful. The middle tier isn't perfect either, but it was salvageable.
its lovely - and the colours are great! yummy
This is a great looking cake!!
It looks perfect to me, how did you get the vlack color?
 sorry , I mean how did you get the black color?
I think you did an awesome job!!!!! I love the fact you have a second cake there also! Love the color scheme of it! You know come to think about it...if you had run out of brown fondant for the borders you could of used malted milk balls YUMMM LOL :D Love it Nikster!
When I'm needing a fair amount of black, I use all my leftover fondant, all different colors, and mix them together, and then add americolor black. This saves on waste some.
