I placed third in the Advanced Divison of a local cake competition. Dummy cakes 10", 8". 6". Fondant and royal icing. I used a pattern from a Wilton wedding book for the eyelet design on the bottom layer. This is the firs time I have done piping on a cake , so the eyelets don't look all that good. I'm not sure if you can tell from this picture,but there is a little pond on top of the second layer inside the columns. I used piping gel for the water.
