My husband & I made this cake for a friend's son. It had to be transported 5 hrs so we decided to do a horizontal R2D2 in 3D vs a vertical one that we had done before. We used 2 6inch cakes (cut in half ) and half a ball pan (cut in half) for the body. For the arms we cut a 9x13.
