The man who ordered the cake asked that it be vanilla, buttercream, chocolate covered strawberries and something special for a nine year old girl who was joining his family from another country. He wanted her to remember her first day in his home. I built the cake up around the fish bowl which contained a live beta fish (it was quite interesting delivering the cake without spilling the water (thankfully it wasn't too far and I knew the back roads..lol)
