It was hard getting suitable ingredients and materials: I cut up colored marshmallows to separate the different colors for MMF, used Japanese vegetable cutters for the hearts & butterflies, got new hair-roller cores for the cake support & a new flowerpot base for the cake base, painted the wooden wedding cake topper. Did everything stovetop/oven as I didn't have a microwave. I wasn't entirely happy with my first wedding/MMF/BC/tiered cake, but it made the Mongolian couple very happy, so I'm content. :-)

i love the butterflies. you had to be very creative to make such a beautiful cake with what you had to work with.
