This is cake no 1 of the 3 cakes i did for the 21st birthday party today! i Themed it as "for each year, a rose" it is a fruit cake, covered in marzipan and fondant , with fondant drapes dusted with midnight blue dusting powders and the roses and leaves are all gum paste, roses were dusted with pink dust , wired and taped to a dowel stick, which was inserte into the covered fruit cake - the "sand" if treacle sugar.
