Winter Snowflakes

Winter Snowflakes on Cake Central

16,12,9, and 6" cakes iced in buttercream with RI snowflakes and fondant bow. Bow painted with Pearl Luster dust. I also did a 12 by18 by 4" cake and another 6" for the couple....total servings 320. I was quite nervous as this was only my second wedding cake. The first one only served 30! TFL!

Beautiful!! How did u do the snowflakes?? I'm new at this and would love to know?? would u mind sharing?? great job for second cake!!

I used patterns for the snoflakes (you can find them on here) and just used egg white royal icing to trace them. Use plastic wrap over your patterns. I used a tip 3 to pipe them. I then sprinkled them with cake sprinkles. Let them dry for a day or two and they peel right off! :D
